The Site Info tool provides information about the worksite that you are currently in. If you have a role that allows it, you can use this tool to make changes to information about the site, tools available in the site, and access to the site. You can also publish the site using the Site Info tool.
Key concepts
Site Info displays a participant list, so that you can edit access to your site. It also allows you to add or remove tools from your worksite. Click Edit Tools in order to add or remove any tools. To customize the name of a tool or reorder the tools click Tool Order in Site Info. In Site Info you can also edit your site's appearance and description as well.
Things to consider
- If you would like to entirely duplicate a site (content, tools, and roster data) click on Site Info in the site you wish to duplicate. Then click Duplicate Site. After duplication is complete be sure to delete the old roster in your new site and add the appropriate roster. If you are creating a new site and you wish to re-use selected material from an existing site, you will be able to do this during the tool selection step of Worksite Setup. Click on the My Workspace tab and then Worksite Setup to begin creating a new site.
- If you do not have the appropriate permissions, Site Info will show you only the information about the worksite published by the site owner.
- Tool Order is a new feature of Site Info. It allows you to rename, reorder, and hide bSpace tools that are in your site. The Site Info help topics: Tool Order & Changing your site's appearance and Adding, editing, or removing tools explain more about Tool Order.
